World Humanitarian Day Film for REACT Disaster Response

In 2023, Lewis Inman / Opika produced a documentary-style film for REACT Disaster Response, created to mark World Humanitarian Day and to honour the volunteers who support communities affected by natural disasters, conflict and humanitarian crises.

The film was designed to reflect REACT’s mission and values, combining sensitively shot field imagery with a straightforward narrative that highlights the dedication of responders working around the world. Released as part of the organisation’s #nomatterwhat campaign, the piece helped amplify REACT’s message across social platforms and official channels.

Our work with REACT represents the core of what we offer at Opika: ethical, operationally aware media support for NGOs, charities and non-profit organisations. With ten years of international experience, we provide documentary photography, filmmaking, social media content, and secure on-the-ground coverage for teams working in complex or remote environments.

Whether supporting fundraising campaigns, programme visibility, advocacy, or public communications, our approach prioritises accuracy, sensitivity and long-term impact. Every project is built around truthful storytelling and close collaboration with field teams.

If your organisation needs dependable, high-quality media for humanitarian or development work, we would be glad to discuss how Opika can support your next mission.
